Studio & Community
The Studio & Community programme creates safe spaces to meet others, learn and share skills. A clay community in the heart of a ceramic city. You can access making opportunities, whatever your level of experience. The projects within this programme strand seek to develop creativity and nurture wellbeing.
BCB also works in partnership with health and community organisations in Stoke-on-Trent to create opportunities for people to explore and imagine how clay and creativity can make a difference in their lives, communities and city.
The BCB Studio is a space to work with clay, based in the heart of Stoke on Trent at Spode Works.
Next steps
Studio membership is available for those who feel confident to work independently. The studio and its facilities are open to members on Mondays and Thursdays each week.
A firing service is available for makers who create their work at home or from another studio.
Clay Comrades
Our regular studio members have formed an artist collective called ‘Clay Comrades.’ They work together on fun and creative projects and commissions.
