Lost Boys - Researchers (January - May 2016)

At the outbreak of World War 1, the legal age limit for armed service overseas in the British Army was 19 years, yet by the end of the war an estimated 250,000 underage soldiers between the ages of 14 and 18 had signed up for/seen active service. The Lost Boys project will reveal the stories and memories of those under age soldiers from North Staffordshire Regiments during WW1.

Independent research can be conducted at local library archives and web searches. All identified content will be used to help design specific outcomes and displayed at World of Wedgwood from 1-31 March 2016 as part of the Resonance touring exhibition.
