Teachers CPD

The BCB Education team collaborates with educators to support and extend teaching practices through engaging CPD programmes throughout the academic year including special CLAY school events and the CLAY conference.

Clay School Network for CPD:

CPD ceramics professional development courses will provide teachers with new ceramic skills and techniques that will be taken back into the classroom and shared through a connected curriculum with partner school in Stoke-On-Trent. To attend Clay School CPD your setting will need to have joined the Clay School Network.

Clay School Network for Clay Ambassador Teachers:

Clay School Ambassador teachers will advocate for Arts in schools and raise the profile of the Arts through their own school network, the wider community and at a national level to influence change in the education system to celebrate and give value to the Arts once more.

Clay school Ambassador teachers will be signposted to Arts Mark information, CPD sessions and the annual CLAY conference. To become a Clay School Ambassador your setting will need to have joined the Clay School Network.

CLAY Conference:

The CLAY conference is held annually at the former pottery factory site, Spode in Stoke-On-Trent.
