Catering Provision for the Festival

BCB Ltd is inviting expressions of interest from catering providers for the provision of hot and cold food and refreshments during the BCB festival – 28 September to 10 November 2013.

In 2011 BCB refreshments and hot and cold food were supplied through a specially created teashop – The Factory Refectory – located in the China Hall on the original Spode factory site.  It was set up and run by tea experts who provided a great selection of special drinks along with a range of sandwiches and hot lunches and some ludicrously tempting homemade cakes.

The teashop was open from 11am – 4pm, Tuesday to Sunday.

The teashop also provided hot and cold food and alcoholic beverages for a number of daytime and evening events during the Festival.

BCB want to be able to provide hot and cold food and refreshments for visitors to BCB Festival, on the original Spode factory site, again this year.  We are therefore inviting expressions of interest for this provision, six days a week throughout the six week festival.  It is important that the catering provision adds to the visitor experience and the general warmth and ambience of the exhibition/festival space.  It therefore needs to be integrated within the Festival and reflect the quality and style of BCB.
