The City fondly known as The Potteries boasts visitor centres, world class ceramic museums including the Wedgwood Museum which has just gained UNESCO status, factory tours and over 25 pottery factory shops.

Plus excellent leisure and entertainment facilities including nearby Alton Towers, and the unique Trentham Monkey Forest and 800 acre Trentham Estate. Gladstone Pottery Museum, The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery and Ford Green Hall all have a full and varied programme of events to enjoy. Whilst Trentham Estate has some great events and behind the scenes garden tours in the Italian gardens. There are some great events at Shugborough too and some of the factory shops offer big sales throughout the year.
