– Getting hands on with the Biennial

The Biennial is much more than terrific exhibitions presented in extraordinary buildings, it is also the opportunity for people to learn more about ceramics, to enjoy the processes of making and decorating, and to understand more about the way in which artists and industries work with the material.

Each weekend there will be something happening, sometimes for visitors, sometimes for the city itself, always though for anyone with a curiosity about clay and a willingness to explore – guided tours, activities with clay, masterclasses, open studios, demonstrations – and some great retail sales. All events are free unless otherwise stated.
