Gabriella joined the BCB in 2017 as a festival volunteer before working as an evaluation intern for the Health and Engagement projects. As of 2019, she now works as an Associate Artist and as a Marketing Officer on press and marketing activity as well as coordinating digital content for the BCB’s various projects and events.
Gabriella graduated from Manchester School of Art in 2018 with a BA in Three-Dimensional Design with an emphasis on ceramics and sound/film. Alongside her work with the BCB, Gabriella is building her ceramic practice and recently participated in a residency at Guldagergaad Ceramic Research Centre in Denmark.
For the 2019 festival, her role will include marketing, communication and event support as well as assisting in the delivery of the engagement programmes.
“There’s so many things I’m looking forward to in this Biennial, with it being the first that I’ve worked at full-time. Seeing the transformation of the space at Spode, the incredible variety of art that is being exhibited and the opportunities for visitors to get their hands full of clay.”
