BCB: Call for Architects

British Ceramics Biennial (BCB) is seeking to appoint an experienced architect to provide conservation and design architectural services in relation to a proposed capital project. The capital project is based in Stoke-on-Trent and will refurbish and repurpose an existing heritage building to expand cultural facilities.

About the contract requirements

The scope of the brief includes developing the capital project to meet BCB’s capital aims and related funder requirements. The expanded cultural facility includes development of a small gallery space, education space, artist residency studio and residential facilities alongside new office space for BCB. We are seeking a full-service contract for RIBA stages 1 – 7. Importantly, the contracted architect must be able to complete works to the end of RIBA stage 3 by 20 October 2025 in order to meet funder deadlines.

Any interested parties are requested to contact Clare Wood, Chief Executive & Artistic Director, for further information by 5pm on 7 August 2025.
