Past Biennials

Initiated in 2009, the British Ceramics Biennial has grown to be the single largest contemporary ceramics event in the UK. We present artworks from the UK’s leading ceramicists alongside work by international artists, in exhibitions and special events held across the city every two years.

Please take a look at our archive of past biennials. Follow us on social media to keep up with news, updates and opportunities.

British Ceramics Biennial has generous support from Arts Council England, University of Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent City Council. Visit our Sponsors & Supporters page to see our full list of sponsors.
