BCB is looking for creative, people-loving volunteers to support our year-round programme and the 2027 Biennial – the UK’s largest contemporary ceramics event, rooted in the arts and heritage of Stoke-on-Trent.

What you might do

Working with the BCB team and Associate Artists, volunteers will help to support the delivery of our year-round programme as well as our 2027 Biennial programme. This may include:

• Support workshops (set-up, take-down and chatting with participants)
• Invigilate exhibition spaces
• Support installations, cleaning and painting
• Front-of-house: greeting and chatting and engaging with visitors

Good to know

• Must be 18+; role is based in Stoke-on-Trent
• Unpaid role, but expenses (up to £10 transport/£5 lunch per day) are claimable for shifts of 4+hours. Repayable on presentation of the relevant tickets, receipts and mileage claims.
