Tours of the 2025 British Ceramics Biennial at Spode Works
We have a friendly and knowledgeable team who are offering tours of the 2025 British Ceramics Biennial at the Spode Works Site in Stoke-on-Trent. From weekend walk-up tours to our BCB Experience for schools and community groups, these will provide a more personal introduction to the installations created by over 60 talented artists.
The Spode Works Site is wheelchair accessible. See below for information on dates and times, and links to the tours that require booking.
Free weekend walk-up tours (no booking required)
Tour length: 1 hour – please arrive 5 minutes before the tour starts
When: Every Saturday and Sunday at 1:30pm, starting on Saturday 6 September to Sunday 19 October inclusive.
No booking is required, drop by. Tours are free, but please consider donating. Donations can be made in cash or by card at the Biennial Welcome Desk.

The BCB Experience (booking required)
Our offer for Primary and Secondary schools, community groups and arts organisations. Includes a guided tour of the Biennial along with a hands-on session in our Playscape Project Space, tailored to suit different age groups and accessibility needs.
Our pre-booked slots are now full, but we still have some availability. Please email info@britishceramicsbiennial.com with the following details:
- Contact name, email and mobile number
- Group size (minimum 10, maximum 40)
- Organisation name
- Age of group (if under 18)
- Any access requirements
- 2-3 preferred dates and times (we have a 10am morning slot and a 1pm afternoon slot Monday-Friday)
As a small team putting on a big event, our capacity is limited and we may not respond right away. We will respond as quickly as we are able.
