Bahbak Hashemi-Nezhad

Bahbak Hashemi-Nezhad is a London-based designer whose projects span the public realm, objects, games, food, and spaces. Grounded in anthropology, aesthetics, and play, his work develops through real-life projects, methodologies and tools to actively engage publics within design processes.

Bahbak has developed and exhibited work internationally, collaborating with institutions including the Serpentine Galleries, Tokyo Metropolitan Government, Shanghai Biennale and the Greater London Authority, amongst others. His research centres on critical approaches to social design and education.

He trained at the Royal College of Art in London, where he continues to work and play.
