Iain joined BCB in 2011 and now oversees The Clay Foundation’s partnerships, operations, finances and development. Iain has long experience working in cultural management across the statutory, education, private and voluntary sectors in the UK, Northern Ireland, Netherlands and France.
Prior to taking up his role at The Clay Foundation, he worked as a senior consultant specialising in producing feasibility studies and business plans for cultural organisations for capital projects. In addition Iain has an MSc in Sustainable Architecture.
As a Design Historian (graduate of Manchester Polytechnic) Iain studied the pot barons (Wedgwood and Spode) and has long had a particular interest in urbanism – in what makes places work.
