Joanna joined BCB for a 6 month placement in 2018. Her role as a Programmes Coordinator for Growing Cultures Project involved developing and delivering workshops for education and health settings. Since then, she became BCB Associate Artist and has worked on ReCast and CLAY School programmes. At present Joanna is one of the Project Coordinators for the Foundations Project that engages school children across Stoke-on-Trent in playful exploration of clay.
Joanna studied Three-Dimensional Design at Manchester Metropolitan University and graduated with BA in 2017. Her practice is focused on lighting and decorative objects and takes inspiration from patterns found in nature.
