Samantha Knights is a Senior Architect based in Manchester, specialising in the design and conservation of heritage and cultural buildings. Previous projects include Harris Museum in Preston and the Wordsworth Museum in the Lake District. She was also involved with Harper Street at Middleport Pottery, here in Stoke-on-Trent. These projects balance conservation sensitivity with contemporary public engagement and have a strong community offer. Outside of architecture, Samantha has enjoyed volunteering for the Manchester International Festival and contributing to the Manchester Heritage Panel.
She has a deep commitment to the cultural and historic environment and the role it plays in connecting communities, telling shared stories and enriching everyday life. Her approach is grounded in collaboration, inclusivity and meaningful engagement to help contribute to a positive impact.
