CLAY Museum

CLAY Museum is a two-year programme, funded by Arts Council England, delivered in partnership by Potteries Museum and Art Gallery and British Ceramics Biennial. The aim is to support secondary schools across the region engage with the Museum and its collections through a range of FREE ceramics workshops. These workshops will explore the links between objects in the Museum’s collections and the curriculum, and how these can be brought to life in exciting ways through the use of hands-on clay workshops.

Previous projects within the programme have included workshops related to the centenary of World War I with artist Steve Dixon, and the science of bacteria and history of antibiotics in our Growing Cultures Project.
