University of Staffordshire presents the work of the 2025 cohort, who have developed and expanded their practice on the Ceramics MA. Recognised as a leading postgraduate programme in ceramics, the students explore a breadth of contemporary ideas and practice, drawing upon current technologies, traditional processes and expert material knowledge.
The showcase presents the rich range of individual practice being explored at University of Staffordshire. The course draws upon the context of industrial ceramic heritage in Stoke-on-Trent. Through their work, the exhibitors highlight the extraordinary opportunities to progress in practice provided by the university and by the course. The new talents have gained expert input and support from a range of industry manufacturers and world-renowned historic collections in Stoke-on-Trent. Having received guidance from leading designers, researchers, technicians and artists, their curiosity, passion and skill have been tested, encouraged and enriched.
