Do you have experience working in The Potteries, or a story to share about your connection with the ceramic history of Stoke-on-Trent?

As part of the Our Time, Our Place, Our Heritage project, we are looking for people who have worked in Stoke-on-Trent’s pottery factories or have grown up in the shadow of the bottle kilns and have stories to share.

We’re looking for stories about the mould-makers, slip-casters, fettlers, spongers, handlers, turners, modellers, kiln loaders and stokers, packers, tube-liners, painters, dippers, foot wipers, transferers, gilders, saggar makers, jolleyers, designers, chemists, electricians, buyers, drivers, office staff and the communities they were a part of.
