Stoke Pride

Venue details
Hanley Park, Cleveland Rd, Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent ST1 4DX

Take some time to be calm, relaxed and immersed during the buzz of Pride celebrations.

You will have a chance to transform an unfired clay tile into a shiny smooth surface with your care and attention by burnishing it. The process of burnishing involves rubbing the surface of the clay using pebbles, teaspoon or other smooth tools.  The tiles will be fired, becoming part of a mass tile making project, Tile Works involving the people of Stoke-on-Trent and displayed as part of the BCB festival in 2023.

If you decorated a plate at Stoke Pride in 2020, they will be here on the day to collect.
