Fresh
The BCB Fresh Exhibition sits alongside AWARD as a stalwart of the festival programme. Fresh exhibition presents the best of the new cohort of talented graduates from UK Higher Education ceramic courses and related programmes. Since inception in 2009 a staggering 126 ceramic artists have been represented through Fresh.
BCB in partnership with NACHE (National Association for Ceramics in Higher Education) select and curate Fresh as platform exhibition that establishes a strong collective voice for emerging ceramic artists, bringing them to critical public attention. In preparing the 2019 exhibition a panel will select 20 artists who it is expected will represent the range of work from across the ceramic spectrum – from studio pottery tableware and industrial design to figurative and abstract sculpture and installation.
Applications for Fresh 2019 are now closed. Thank you to everyone that submitted an application – we will be announcing the selected artists in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
